To build circles in Minecraft, you need to follow a symmetrical pattern of straight lines of blocks that gradually decrease as the curve transitions direction. Our generator calculates this template using circle rasterization algorithms and provides a visual grid. Just look at the diagram and count the size of each segment (e.g., 5 blocks horizontally, then 2 diagonally, then 1, etc.) and repeat this same pattern symmetrically across the 4 quadrants of the circle.

How do you make a sphere or dome using the circle generator?
To build 3D spheres in Minecraft, you must generate horizontal circle slices with progressive diameters. For example, if your sphere has a total diameter of 15 blocks, the central layer (equator) will be a circle of diameter 15. The layers above and below will have circles of smaller diameters (e.g., 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3), calculated according to the spherical curvature. Stacking these horizontal circles will create a perfect sphere!
Does the generator allow creating ellipses or only perfect circles?
Yes! Our tool has separate controls for width (horizontal diameter) and height (vertical diameter). If you set different values for width and height, the tool will automatically generate a perfect ellipse, excellent for making stretched circular portals, oval ships, arches, and other organic architectural shapes.
